Nandamuri Balakrishna’s new movie ‘Sri Ramarajyam’, to be directed by Bapu was launched today at Ramakrishna Cine Studios, Hyderabad. For the muhurat shot on title logo, Balakrishna tapped the clap board and Ramesh Prasad switched on the camera. This movie is going to be produced by Yalamanchi Saibabu under Sri Sai Baba Movies banner. In this film Akkineni Nageswara Rao will play the role of Valmiki while Srikanth will play Lakshmana and Nayantara will play Sita. The story of the film is written by Mullapudi Venkata Ramana.

The launching function was also attended by Nandamuri Ramakrishna, Srikanth, Ramesh Prasad, Mullapudi Venkata Ramana, etc.

Veteran director Bapu has begun shooting his latest mythology - Sri Ramarajyam . Balakrishna plays the Lord Sri Rama in the film and Bapu has also roped in legendary actor Akkineni Nageshwara Rao to do the role of Valmiki. The movie’s pooja ceremony was held on Monday, November 22, 2010 at Ramakrishna Studios in Nacharam in Hyderabad.
