Ram Gopal Varma’s latest ‘Rakta Charitra’ is a 5 hour movie that is divided into two parts and releasing as Part-1 and Part-2. The first part of Telugu version will be released on October 21st and the Hindi version is scheduled for October 22nd release. Part-2 film will be released after a gap of two weeks. While the part-1 will focus completely on the raise of Paritala Ravi till the incidence of his murder, the Part-2 will showcase the post Paritala Ravi’s murder and Maddelacheruvu Suri’s jail life. The Tamil version of ‘Rakta Charitra’ will be released as a single full-length film since Surya will appear only in Part-2.

This film is based on faction backdrop and the entire film has violence and bloodshed. Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi is essaying the role of Paritala Ravi, Tamil actor Surya is playing the role of Maddelacheruvu Suri, yet another Bollywood actor Shatrughan Sinha is playing the role of Late NTR, Priyamani as Gangula Bhanumati and Radhika Apte as Paritala Sunita. This trilingual ‘Rakta Charitra’, produced and directed by Ram Gopal Varma is written by Prashant Pandey and has music by Imran-Vikram.
