Auctioning the artists garments are for that matter anything involved with a successful movie is not new in film world. But for Tollywood this is a new trend which started with auctioning of ‘Hat & Suit’ which were used by Jr NTR in ‘Adhurs’. Following the trend the recent box office hit ‘Magadheera’ also has attracted the fans of the new hot throb Ram Charan Teja. To capture on this craze as well as to help the poor artists in Tollywood, The MAA (Movie Artists Association) has decided to auction the sword and shield used by Ram Charan Teja. For those who think that these cannot fetch anything be surprised to note that already there are three bidders in Shivaji Raja and Venu Madhav, followed by BVSN Prasad. It is Rs 50,000/- by Shivaji Raja for the sword and Rs 25,000/- for the shield and BVSN Prasad has bid a combined figure of Rs 1 lakh for both on behalf of Geetha Arts.

While announcing all these in a press release yesterday, the MAA President Murali Mohan said that the highest bidder would be given away the items at a specially organized function on 20th of May.

It is just an idea that matters when it comes to helping the needy.
