‘Raavan’, a multi-starrer film is gearing up for the worldwide release on June 18th. The theme of the film is taken from the epic Ramayan and crafted with a modern approach. Sources claim that Mani filmed multiple climax scenes only to maintain suspense even among unit members. When asked about the same he smiles and says, “I’ve shot the same film twice in two different languages. So people think I’m crazy”.
The music is composed by Oscar and Grammys’ winner A R Rahman and was released today in Mumbai. Music of Tamil and Telugu versions will also be released shortly. While the title in Tamil is given as ‘Raavanan’, it’s ‘Villain’ in Telugu. Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai are the lead pair in Hindi and Vikram is essaying the role of ‘Raavan’. In Tamil and Telugu versions, Prithviraj portrays the role performed by Abhishek in Hindi.
