Ram Gopal varma's the story based on Paritala Ravi titled ‘Raktha Charitra’ which is going to release simultaneously in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil languages.Raktha Charitra is jointly produced by Madhu Mantena and Sheetal Vinod Talwar is being made into two parts. According to sources the first part might release on August 11 and the second part after few weeks of the release of first part. The trailer and the first look of Surya were recently released in Chennai due to which the film got into controversy with a group demanding for its ban since they are worried that the film might create violence in Rayalaseema region.

While Vivek Oberoi is playing the role of Paritala Ravi, Surya is playing the role of Maddelacheruvu Suri, Shatrughan Sinha as NTR and Radhika Apte as Paritala Sunitha.
