The shooting of Saloni starring ‘Telugammayi’is still going on in Ramoji Film City and the next schedule would be in the surroundings of Palakollu. The train song ‘Pairagaali vachi nannu paata paada mandi….’ is presently being shot at Ramoji Film City. This apart there is yet another special song combined with 3 different accents of Telugu language (Telangana, Coasta and Uttar Andhra) written by Ananth Sriram. Vandemataram Srinivas is the music composer.Raja Vannem Reddy is directing this film with Saloni in title role and Vikram, Yashwanth, Harsha and Saichand in male lead roles. Vasu handles the camera. Vaanapalli Baburao is the producer.
Ileana didn’t win any hearts with her earlier films in Tamil, the current film that she is doing with Vikram as her co-star is said to be a real gem. The film had started some time ago and had completed its first schedule of shooting. The next schedule is likely to being next week in which the romantic scenes between the lead pair would be shot. Mani Ratnam and the Raavan team of Vikram, Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai, Santosh Sivan and a few others have left for London from Mumbai, today (June 15) afternoon.They will be attending the world premiere of Raavan in London on Wednesday (June 16) night at BFI, Southbank. It will be a red carpet affair, and those who would be attending the function would be Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan.
Suhasini’s extra cautious attitude during the press meet of her hubby Manirathnam’s latest film, Villain (Telugu version of ‘Raavan’) and she controlling the questions angered the journalists. The press meet was held today (Monday, June 14, 2010) at a five star hotel, which was attended, by Aishwarya Rai, Vikram, Manirathnam and Suhasini. But Suhasini tried to control media men not to pose embarrassing questions. When a journalist asked why is that there is not a single Telugu star in the film while he brought in from Malayalam, Tamil and Hindi, when the movie is supposedly made in three languages, Suhasini made an helluva of flurry.Aishwarya Rai on her part gave replies passionately and patiently. The much awaited flick of Mani ratnam's Telugu version Villian/Raavanan. This film's rights have been sold at a price of Rs 350 Crores. There are expectations that this film will do business up to Rs 550 Crores. After the release of the film, Mani ratnam will not have rights over the story and any other things connected with this film. This is the first time, such an agreement has been made for a Mani ratnam film. The whole rights have been acquired by Reliance and Sony. Since Mani ratnam, A R Rahman, Vikram, Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai and Rasool Pookutty are internationally recognized, this film Raavanan has created this expectations. The good business is also because of this.
