Power Star Pawan Kalyan is celebrating his 39th Birthday today.Pawan Kalyan is a sensation across Telugu movies.

Pawan Kalyan made his Telugu movie debut with “Akkada Ammayi Ikkada Abbayi in 1996. Later, he acted in few films and his youthful romantic entertainer ‘Toli Prema’ in 1998 launched him as a perfect commercial hero. Since then Pawan Kalyan has not looked back and has delivered many hit movies like Thammudu, Badri, Khushi, Jalsa, etc.

Pawan Kalyan stepped into active politics and became the President for ‘Yuva Rajyam’ after Chiranjeevi floated his political party – Praja Rajyam.

But unlike other Telugu cinema heroes, Pawan Kalyan shows no mood and interest to celebrate birthdays. He is generally reserve, media shy and relishes being staying back rather.

Rajamouli-Sunil’s ‘Maryada Ramanna’ is releasing with 325 prints in 400 theaters on July 23rd, trailers of Power Star Pawan Kalyan-SJ Suryah’s ‘Komaram Puli’ are going to be sent to those theaters along with ‘Maryada Ramanna’.

Informing this to the media producer of ‘Komaram Puli’ Singanamala Ramesh Babu said, “The trailers will be screened at all those theaters ‘Maryada Ramanna’ will be screened. The audio of ‘Komaram Puli’ received very good response. Therefore we are hoping that the response will be good in theatertrailers too. Very soon ‘Komaram Puli’ will hit theaters.”

Along with the lead pair Pawan Kalyan and Nikeesha Patel, other prominent actors are Manoj Bajpai, Nazar, Charan Raj, Ali, Brahmaji, Master Bharat, Saranya, Kovai Sarala, Jyothi Lakshmi and others.

Khusiga is the title being considered for Pawan Kalyan – Jayanth’s next movie. Remake of Love Aaj Kal, the movie has dialogues by Trivikram. Khushi is one of the biggest hits in Pawan’s career. So Trivikram is reportedly suggested to title this remake as Khushiga. Producer Ganesh has already registered this title at A.P Film Chamber of Commerce. But final call is yet to be taken.

Regular shoot commences next month. Pawan is currently working for S J Surya's Komaram Puli. Once Komaram Puli finishes post production work, Pawan will move on to this Love Aaj Kal remake. Source;TC

Ahmed Khan, the famous Hindi film Choreographer, has been roped in to direct two songs for Pawan Kalyan’s 'Kommram Puli' . Out of the two songs, one song was shot on Pawan Kalyan, as his introduction song in the film. The other one features Shriya Saran, doing a sizzling item number.

Both the songs have been completed, and it is said that they have come out differently. The producers believe that these two songs will gain audience’s appreciation.

It seems the makers of 'Kommram Puli' sure do know how to keep the audience’s interest in the film as the release date of the film comes nearer and nearer.

Ileana who is currently working with NTR’s Shakti has adjusted her dates to this movie. This is the second time that she is pairing up with Pawan Kalyan.

The film would commence its regular shoot from June. Pawan Kalyan will be donning two roles in this movie and search for another actress is still on. In a section of media, it was reported that Samantha has signed for the other role, but she is not doing. A new heroine will be cast in.

The movie is produced by Singanamala Ramesh on Kanakaratna Movies banner.

S.J Suryah teams up with Pawan Kalyan for the second time after the 2001 blockbuster Khushi. A new face Nikesha Patel is cast opposite Kalyan in this film. Oscar & Grammy winner A.R Rahman scores the music for the film. Its his first straight telugu film in many years. The audio of the movie will be launched into the market in the month of May 2010. The movie itself is slated for release in the second half of the year.

Telugu filmmakers are looking at B-town for inspiration, scripts and hits. The trend was put on back burner by T-town dream merchants after Shankardada Zindabad (a remake of Lage Raho Munnabhai) flopped, but Billa (a remake of Don) which hit the screens last year did good BO biz. In 2010, three B-town hits – Love Aaj Kal, Race and 3 Idiots – will be remade in Telugu. However, the Telugu filmmakers have chosen three different genres for the remakes and all the films are expected to be star-studded.

Love Aaj Kal’s Telugu version has just been launched amid a lot of fanfare. Pawan Kalyan who essays the lead role in the LAJK remake is doing a romantic film after many years (Tholi Prema and Kushi). For director Jayanth, it will be his second Hindi remake after Shankardada MBBS (a remake of Munnabhai MBBS which was a sensational success). “I wanted to do a film with Pawan in 1998, am able to do so only now. Though we are remaking LAJK, we have made a lot of changes in the storyline, but retained the soul of the original,” he says. Deepika Padukone and Samantha are being considered for the female lead’s role.

An inside source in the production house that’s remaking the edge-of-the-seat Race starring Ravi Teja, says the film isn’t a frame-to-frame copy and there will be some “changes”. The remake of 3 Idiots which has been on the cards for a while now, might happen too. A leadingproduction house is likely to pay a whopping amount for the rights. Reportedly, Pawan Kalyan and other big stars have watched it, but the cast hasn’t been finalised yet.

Not all remakes are BO winners. Director Vijayabhaskar couldn’t make a winner out of Bhale Dongalu, (a remake of Bunty Aur Babli). “When it comes to remakes, our work is doubled as we need to make the right amount of changes to suit the taste of the local audience without diluting the emotional quotient of the original,” he says.

Pawan Kalyan on Friday offered prayers at Tirumala. He took part in the Abhishekam seva and worshipped the Lord for the success of his forthcoming film ' Komraram Puli'. He told the media that he had been contemplating to visit Tirumala since two years, but it was fulfilled now. On Thursday, he trekked up to the temple on footpath.
