Rana-Ileana starrer ‘Nenu Naa Rakshasi’ is currently progressing at Hyderabad. After completing the Hyderabad schedule the unit will fly to Bangkok to wind up the shooting part in December 1st week. Being directed at Puri Jagannath and produced by Nallamalapu Bujji, this movie is a full-fledged entertainer that will attract especially the youth audience. Puri Jagannath has roped in Bollywood music composers duo Vishal - Sekhar to compose two songs for his current film, Nenu Naa Rakshasi starring Ileana and Raana. Apart from them, two more music directors Viswa (two songs) and Pappi Lahari (son of famous music director Bappi Lahari) are also working on this music.

Puri Jagannath’s next film with Rana Daggubati and Ileana was recently launched in the presence D Ramanaidu, Suresh Babu, Venkatesh and Naga Chaitanya. The regular shooting of this film has begun today morning in Hyderabad. The title ‘Nenu Naa Rakshasi’ is pretty interesting and indicates that the film deals with a love subject. Still, this being Puri’s film, one can expect mass and action elements. Unlike ‘Leader’, Rana is likely to show off his muscles in this film, therefore he is currently busy building his muscles. Nallamalapu Bujji is producing ‘Nenu Naa Rakshasi’.

Rana Daggubati,Puri Jagannath combo movie was launched on Sep 4rth on saturday at Ramanaidu studios in hyderabad.Nallamalapu Sinivas is joining hands with Puri Jagannath to produce the film but this is the second hero from Daggubati family he is working with, the first being Venkatesh in ‘Chintakayala Ravi’. This Lakshmi Narasimha Productions will commence its regular shooting from September 13th onwards. Later in October the next schedule will be in Italy followed by the last schedule in Hyderabad. The film is planned to complete by November. Curvaceous beauty Ileana is going to play Rana’s love interest.

The film launch was simple with a few friends and family members. Rana’s grandfather D Ramanaidu, his father D Suresh Babu and his uncle Venkatesh graced the occasion and blessed him. His cousin Naga Chaitanya also visited the spot and offered his best wishes to Rana, Ileana and the entire team.

Golimaar successfully completes fifty day run tomorrow. Golimaar is written off by critics and trade alike in the first week but it stood its ground firmly mainly in the B and C centers. There are no potential releases that followed Golimaar at the box office and it helped its cause and Golimaar turned as a safe venture for buyers and the makers. Golimaar completes 50 days run in 79 centers and that is not a mean feat taking this year releases into consideration.Puri Jagannadh is planning to make his next film with Amitabh in the lead. His Bollywood venture is titled Budda (old man).

Yesteryear’s actress turned politician, Roja made a comeback into films earlier this year with Shambo Shiva Shambo. She was recently seen in Puri Jagannath’s ‘Golimaar’. Earlier today she addressed a press meet where she thanked Puri for offering her a role in Golimaar. She also thanked him for letting her dub in her own voice and revealed that this is the second time in her career that she had dubbed on her own. The first time she dubbed her own voice was in Shambo Shiva Shambo.

The actress who ruled the film industry for almost 10 years in the 90s stated that she wouldn’t have got a role in Golimaar if she hadn’t acted in Shambo Shiva Shambo. When asked about her dominating role inthe film , she said “During my stint as a politician, I have gone to the police stations and I was able to raise my voice with conviction. I think that helped a lot when I was more or less portraying the same thing here in Golimaar”. Incidentally, boththe film were produced by Bellamkonda Suresh.

‘A’ for action and Puri Jagannath’s next action flick ‘Golimaar’ with dynamic hero Gopichand has finished its censor rituals and is ready for release.

Expressing happiness in a press meet to announce the same, producer Bellamkonda Suresh was happy to see the movie come out smoothly. He added that the music of the movie is a big plus point and everyone seems to like the drunkard song about men. ‘Golimaar’ releases on 27th May. Be prepared for the action!

Similar views were expressed by hero Gopichand. He said the movie will be a blockbuster like Puri Jagannath’s previous hits. When it was the director’s turn, he humbly accepted that the movie was inspired by the real life incidents of encounter specialist Daya Nayak. He added saying Gopichand’s performance is a highlight in the movie along with Roja’s explosive performance.

Roja gave a gist of her character saying she is playing Priya Mani’s mother in ‘Golimaar’ and her role is quite challenging. Priya Mani said she was a big fan of Puri Jagannath and was happy to be part of the movie
