Debutant director Nandini Reddy’s maiden crazy (Love) story, Ala Modalaindi, had music launch on Monday, November 15, 2010 at Hotel Daspalla in Hyderabad. Veteran directors K Raghavendra Rao and Kodanda Ramireddy, director S S Rajamouli, Srinu Vytla, Gunnam Gangaraju, Bhimineni and Deva Katta, producer Shyam Prasad Reddy, senior actress Jayasudha, hero Sumanth and Rupadevi graced the audio launch ceremony. The film is produced by K Damodara Prasad on Sri Ranjith Movies banner and has Naani and newcomer Nitya Menon as the lead pair. Kalyani Malik has scored the music.

Music director Kalyani Malik said Nandini has extracted good music from me. “She has good musical sense. I thank all the dignitaries who have turned up here,” he added.

Siddharth is back on the sets of his bilingual film ‘180’. As known to you all, the first schedule was done in Malaysia recently and now the 2nd schedule begins at Chennai today. The movie is being directed by his mentor P Jayendra with Nitya Menon and Priya Anand as heroines opposite Siddharth. Music is rendered by Sarath and camera is handled by KT Balasubrahmaniam. This apart, Siddu’s other movie under Prakash Kovelampudi’s direction with Sruthi Hassan as his co-star is indeed progressing gradually. Both these movies are expected to release in 2011.

Sneha Ullal and Kriti Karbanda are the other two heroines playing key roles in the film. K L Damodhar Prasad is producing it under Sri Ranjith Movies banner. Music is being composed by Kalyani Malik.

Siddharth went emotional while describing his bond with the film’s director Jayendra, with whom he had association since childhood. He also said that the film is primarily set in Hyderabad although it is being made in Tamil too. “I am making entry into Tamil films again with this film,” he added. It is a character driven film, Siddharth said.

This romantic entertainer is a maiden film for Nandini Reddy, who earlier worked with Sekhar Kammula. Featuring the beautiful girl from God own country Nitya Menon as female lead, it has music by Kalyani Malik and cinematography by Arjuna Jena. KL Damodara Prasad is producing the film under Sri Ranjith Movies banner. His father Ranjith Kumar had earlier produced films like ‘Cheekati Velugulu’, ‘Lanke Bindalu’, ‘Mana Oori Katha’, etc.

Siddharth’s new film, which is a bilingual one with the title in Tamil considered as ‘Puttam Pudhu Kaalai’. Now the latest news is that the makers have decided on ‘180’ as the working title in Telugu. The film has two heroines – while one is ‘Leader’ fame Priya Anand, the other is Nitya Menon. To be directed by his mentor P Jayendra, the film would go on sets in July, i.e., after the completion of his present flick ‘Bava’. This apart, Siddu is also busy with yet another project, a socio-fantasy flick under K Prakash Rao’s direction that is being produced by K Raghavendra Rao.
