Sunil the ace comedian of telugu film industry is going with great guns after Maryada ramanna. He is now busy in shooting of his next movie ‘Kadha , Screenplay, Darsakathvam – Appalraju’.

His next project is confirmed. The movie is titled as ‘Napoleon’ . Koti, Associate of Rajamouli is directing the movie. Deeksha seth will be pairing up with Sunil in this movie. The movie is produced by Ganesh Indukuri under Sanvy productions banner. MM. Keervani is the music direction. Ram prasad who worked for Maryada Ramanna is the cinematographer

‘Badrinath’ is still continuing their shooting at Manali. Currently some action scenes are being canned at a huge set erected on the location. Stunt master Peter Heynes is directing the action scenes. We are aware that Allu Arjun took a perfect Martial Arts training at Vietnam. Now these action scenes that are being shot are said to be the highlights of the film. This is the 2nd film in Allu Arjun-VV Vinayak combination, the first being ‘Bunny’. Produced by the prestigious banner Geeta Arts, the film has Tamannah as leading lady. She is pairing for the first time with Arjun.

The 57th Idea Filmfare Awards 2010-South ceremony honouring the best South Indian films of 2009 was held grandly on August 7th, 2010 in Chennai. The awards in 40 categories were given to Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam films.

SS Rajamouli’s prestigious film ‘Magadheera’ walked away with six Filmfare awards for Best Film, Best Actor (Ram Charan Tej), Best Director(SS Rajamouli), Best Cinematography(Senthil Kumar), Best Music(MM Keeravani) and Best Playback Singer-Male(Anuj Guruwara). Whilethe best actress award was bagged by Anushka for her role in ‘Arundhati’, the special jury award had gone to Yuvan Shankar Raja for his music in ‘Oye’.

On other hand, ‘Nadodigal’ won the Best Film award in Tamil, while Prakash Raj won the Best Actor award for his performance in ‘Kancheevaram’ and Priyadarshan won the Best Director award for the same film.

This time the Lifetime Achievement award was given to two persons-Kannada actor Ambareesh and Malayalam thespian KPAC Lalitha.

SS Rajamouli and Sunil upcoming Comedy Film ‘Maryada Ramanna’ is hitting theatres on July 23rd.This Movie is produced by Devineni Prasad and Shobhu Yarlagadda under Arka Media Works banner.Earlier the plan was to release the film with 250 prints which later increased to 300 on exhibitors demand. But now the distributors and exhibitors have raised their expectations on the film after receiving positive reports, hence they further demanded for 25 more prints. “Right now as per their demand the movie will release with 325 prints in about 400 theaters and is likely to be increased further after the film’s release”, says one of the producers Shobhu Yarlagadda.

Featuring Saloni as female lead opposite Sunil the film has Nagineedu, Brahmaji, Rao Ramesh, Venu Gopal, Kaanchi, and others in prominent roles. Music is composed by MM Keeravani and cinematography is by C Ram Prasad.

Balakrishna’s upcoming movie ‘Paramaveera Chakra’ under Dasari Narayana Rao’s direction. Since the regular shooting is likely to begin during August 1st week, the formal announcement of cast and crew are yet to be announced. But the reports say that Anushka and Hansika Motwani are going to play the female leads. Musical scores would be rendered by MM Keeravani. This apart, there is also news that cameraman Ramana Raju, whose camera work is seen in ‘Bangaru Babu’, ‘Dongodu’ and Rajasekhar starrer ‘Nayakudu, has been roped in for this film. Producer C Kalyan is planning to release ‘Paramaveera Chakra’ as Sankranthi gift in 2011.
