Karthi’s ‘Aawara’ directed by N Linguswamy and produced by K E Gnanavel Raja under Studio Green banner was released on August 28th and successfully completed 100 days in all prominent centers.On this occasion producer K E Gnanavel Raja said, “Our banner celebrated 100 days runs of ‘Yuganiki Okkadu’ starring Karthi. And now, it is ‘Aawara’ once again with Karthi as hero. We are happy to note that both films with Karthi as hero have celebrated 100 days runs in the same year. At this juncture we are planning to present two more films to the Telugu audience. I thank the audience for receiving the films made by ourStudio Green banner.”

Karthi is well known as Surya's brother who captured the Telugu market with two of his dubbed films like ‘Yuganiki Okkadu’ and ‘Aawara’, is all set to do a straight Telugu film now. It is to be noted here that he has dubbed his own voice for the Telugu version of ‘Aawara’.With talent as well as his looks Karthi captured the heart of Bommarillu Bhaskar. As per the reports, the director is planning to do his next film with him after Ram Charan Tej’s ‘Orange’. BVSN Prasad (producer of ‘Chatrapathi’ and ‘Darling’) is said to be producing this film. The film will be made in Telugu and Tamil as bilingual film. Devisri Prasad composes music.
Karthi and Tamanna starrer ‘Awara’ is set to release on May 21. The film is directed by Lingaswamy of ‘Pandem Kodi’ fame and produced by Gynanavel under Green Studios banner.Producer Gynanavel said, “Awara’ would be releasing on May 21 across Andhra Pradesh and hopes that people would appreciate the film. The audio has already got a very good response”.

‘Aawara’ a tamil dubbed movie Paiyaa creating records at box office.This movie is also tending to release in telugu on May 14th entire Andhra Pradesh. With Karthi as male lead and Tammanah as female lead Linguswamy (director of Run and Pandhem Kodi) directed this flick and K I Gnanavel Raja produced it under Studio Green banner. Yuvan Shankar Raja composed the music and cinematography by Madhi. According to producer Gnanavel, ‘Aawara’ was a big hit in Tamil which collected Rs 12 crores in just 3 days.
