Victory Venkatesh’s forthcoming release Nagavalli movie audio songs were released today at Shilpakala Vedika, Hyderabad.

D. Ramanaidu, Rajamouli, Puri Jagannadh, VV Vinayak, Rana, Nani, Ileana, Praneetha, KL Narayana and many other cine celebrities along with Nagavalli cast and crew attended this audio launch.

Speaking on this occasion Venkatesh told that Nagavalli will be definitely liked by one and all. “P. Vasu has given me a good script like Chanti in the past. With Nagavalli he has given me another good film. Bellamkonda Suresh bought the remake rights of this film and made a quality film. I’ve done a song “Abhimani lenide herolu lerule” in this film and I dedicate it to all my fans,” said Venkatesh.

“This film is going to be a big hit. There are many positive vibes I am feeling about Nagavalli. My wife designed costumes for Venkatesh and Anushka in this film. In that way I am indirectly related with this film” said Rajamouli.

VV Vinayak and Puri Jagannadh wished for this film to be a great hit in Venkatesh’s career. Paruchuri Brothers stated that Nagavalli is going to run for twenty five weeks.

Anushka said that she is honored to be part of this film. She added that all the credit for her performance as Nagavalli should be given to director P. Vasu.

Rana, who got a thunderous response from the fans, said that Venkatesh is still enthusiastic and excited about his films. “I am watching him from my childhood and he is still the same. There is so much to talk about Nagavalli. I can speak about this film for two days,” Rana added.

Hero Nani remembered the days when he watched Venky’s Bobbili Raja many a time by bunking classes. He told that he is a big fan of Venkatesh and his Kshana Kshanam is among his top three all time favorite films.

Richa Gangopadhyaya, Poonam Kaur and Shraddha Das thanked Venkatesh and Bellamkonda Suresh for giving them a chance to be a part of Nagavalli.

Ileana has become as the highest paid actress in South India. No other South Indian actress has been paid Rs 1.5 Crores for a Telugu or Tamil film. Although Aishwarya Rai took Rs 6 Crores for Robot , she is not considered as South Indian actress but Bollywood heroine. So Ileana’s rate of Rs 1.5 Crores for the remake of 3 Idiots is the highest amount ever paid to a South Indian actress.

Director Shankar who is impressed with the work of Ileana wanted her to be the heroine for both the versions of 3 Idiots - in Telugu and Tamil. So she demanded Rs 1.5 Crores for both the versions together. So the producers obliged.

'3 Idiots’ remake talk making many buzzes in both Tollywood and Kollywood.Latest news is that there is a strong belief in the industry that Mahesh Babu is going to act in the remake of ‘3 Idiots’. But contrary to the popular belief there is no such confirmation from Mahesh yet. However, the Film Nagar sources say that Mahesh is still in talks regarding this project but nothing has been finalized as of now. Even though Mahesh Babu and Shankar are not revealing anything pertaining to Telugu remake of ‘3 Idiots’, the latest buzz in the industry is that Ileana signed for the Telugu version and is most likely to do Tamil version as well. Since it’s pointless to speculate over mere rumors, let’s wait for official announcement from the concerned.

Ileana didn’t win any hearts with her earlier films in Tamil, the current film that she is doing with Vikram as her co-star is said to be a real gem. The film had started some time ago and had completed its first schedule of shooting. The next schedule is likely to being next week in which the romantic scenes between the lead pair would be shot. Bhoopathy Pandian is directing this flick and it is being produced by Mohan Natrajan.

This racy film titled ‘Vedi’ is a romantic cum action entertainer blend with some comedy elements. Devisri Prasad is composing the tunes. This being a mass masala entertainer, it’s a perfect re-entry for Ileana after quite a long gap in Kollywood.

In spite of heavy competition few heroines like Shriya, Trisha and Ileana managed to be in business for more than half a decade. After Shriya and Trisha, it looks like Ileana too has entered the last phase of her career as a heroine.Ileana was considered as the undisputed queen of Tollywood till Kajal entered the big league with the help of mighty Magadheera. Soon after Kajal, another young lady Samantha cast her magic spell and made it to the A list of heroines in one attempt. Also Anushka, who was never a threat to Ileana until then, suddenly rose above the bar with Arundhati and kicked out Ileana from the top seat.

At the same time, Ileana’s graph started to go down with duds like Rechipo and Saleem, and she started feeling the heat. Ileana only has two films in her hands at the moment. She is pinning lot of hopes on those films, Junior NTR’s Shakti and Pawan’s LAK remake, to get her back on track.
With a row of flops, she has already announced ‘discount’ on her remuneration. But no one is considering her as there are better bargains that are currently available in the market.

Glam doll Ileana has agreed to perform an item song. The actress who said that she will not do a film unless she is paid 1 crore, ahs agreed to do an item number for Kannada film ‘Thunta Thunta’ .

The film is directed by Indrajith Lankesh and it stars Lekha and Ishitha Sharma as female leads. Great! But what about the remuneration? Well! The Kannada film industry is already reeling with budgets and cannot afford high budget films. And from this, we can conclude that she might not get more comparitively in Tollywood.

But then why did Ileana accept for such low pay? Well, she knows that Tollywood producers will surely come to her sooner or later…

Ileana told that, she is learning Lessons from her Failures. She acted in film “Kedi”. Being an leading actress in telugu, now acting along with vikram in film “vedi” directed by Bhupathi Pandian. She told that if her film didnt go well she will punish herself. Later i understood that its unnecessary. A film’s fate is not in our hands. I feel if i put my best in my role that is enough. Nowadays i learn lessons from failure.

” The shooting of film ” Shakthi” with Junior N.T.R is getting postponed. There’s discussion to act in kannada also. They question me whether I got affected my the introductions of new Heroins. I don’t feel so. I do the work assigned to me. I don’t get scared of new comers. I dont know whether i can be a girl who can alwayz attract people. I dont expect that also. Nothing went as i planned so far. ” , said so Ileana.

After a roaring innings in 2009, numero uno actress Anushka is firmly entrenched in her enviable slot and also has three big-ticket films (with Mahesh Babu, Vedham and Panchakshari) to cement her position this season. “I never believed in this numbers game because for me, every role is an opportunity to enhance my learning curve. Of course, I have a meaty role in Mahesh Babu’s film and I am also essaying an author-backed role in Panchakshari, which is a contemporary saga. However, I like competition since it keeps me on my toes,” says the actress, sportingly.

We are sure though, that she must have heaved a sigh of relief as the films of her competitors — Trisha (Namo Venkatesa) and Nayanthara (Adhurs) didn’t actually set the BO on fire in 2010. Trisha, one of the main contenders to the top slot, makes it clear that she hasn’t left Tollywood for greener pastures and is still very much in the reckoning in T-town. She says, “I neverbelieved in this rat race and I also received good response for my role in Namo Venkatesa. I didn’t sign a new T-town film because I am tied up with my other language films. I would definitely return with a bang, later this year.”

Meanwhile, other hotties like Ileana, Genelia and Kajal have got some plum offers on hand that are guaranteed to give some sleepless nights to reigning star Anushka. “My film with NTR Jr has a mind-blowing script and I am also on the verge of signing another big film, so I have resolved to offer some variety to my audience,” says Ileana, who is determined to bounce back after a disappointing show in 2009.

Another sexy siren, Shriya Saran, is making a comeback of sorts to T-town with a film opposite Ravi Teja, to regain her long lost position in T-town. Whereas, Kajal who tasted record-making hit Maghadeera and a dud like Ganesh, is returning as a lover girl in Darling. “She plays a cute lover girl in our romantic saga,” says director Karunakaran. However, another top-league actress Hansika has moved to Ktown after flops like Sitaramula Kalyanam. “Even today, I am getting Telugu offers but I picked up a Tamil film since I wanted to explore a new industry. And also, the big-ticket K-town film Itch is being directed by Prabhu Deva and will be shot in Paris. However, I would sign a plum T-town offer,” she says, suggesting that she is in no mood to give up.

Another A-list actress, Genelia, who is adept at juggling different language films, has signed up two big-ticket productions — Orange with Ram Charan Tej and another film with Ram. “We are teaming up again after smashing hit Ready and director Surendar Reddy has designed significant roles for both of us in this romantic comedy,” says actor Ram.

“I signed top starNayanthara for our film Simha since she suits the role of a perfect Andhra girl. I always believed in getting the right casting and never went by their established images. So, we’ll showcase her acting skills than her curves,” says director Boyapati Srinu, director of Simha, who feels that big leagueactress, are a ‘value addition’ for big budget extravaganzas.

While a few contenders are busy with other language films, some have their releases slated for mid-2010, Anushka’s position looks undisturbed as of now.

Will any of these actresses actually replace Anushka or will she remain untouched is something only time can tell. Let’s wait and watch!
