Mahesh Babu is all set to romance Sameera reddy and actress Anushka in the movie ‘VETA’. The actresses are said to be confirmed for the film and it is an official word from director Linguswamy. The director has also disclosed that, the script demands a third heroine as well and will be suspense for the audiences.

Linguswamy’s VETA will be on floors from early next year and the director is said to release the movie by the summer 2011. Prince Mahesh Babu has also hinted that, he will be seen regularly on screen in coming years and will not maintain a huge gap, which backfired at him, by his ‘Khaleja’.

“Khaleja” was a super flop and it disappointed Mahesh fans in a very abrupt way. Now, for this coming sankranthi, Mahesh will be seen in ‘Dhookudu’ of director Srinu Vaitla and then will be..

Mahesh Babu’s next romantic action entertainer ‘Dookudu’ started its regular shooting at Turkey. The film is being directed by Sreenu Vaitla and produced by 14 Reels Entertainment banner.

Like we saw a different Mahesh in his latest film ‘Khaleja’, director Sreenu also is going to portray him in a very new character. After two successful films like ‘Ye Maya Chesave’ and ‘Brindavanam’, this is Samantha’s third film in Telugu. A song and a few fighting scenes will be canned at Turkey after which the unit will move on to Dubai and then to Gujarat to shoot the remaining part of the film. Music director S Thaman has just tuned the title song called ‘Nee Dookudu Satevvadu…’. The movie is planned for March release.

‘Dookudu’ On Location

Mahesh Babu and Sreenu Vaitla’s Combo movie ‘Dookudu’ and Samantha as lead pair is set to begin its first schedule in Turkey. The unit left for Turkey to shoot the prominent scenes and a couple of songs there. Now the interesting news is that Sonia of ‘Happy Days’ and ‘Vinayakudu’ fame has got selected to play an important role in the film. She would be essaying the role of Samantha’s friend. This 14 Reels Entertainment's 2nd production venture is an action cum comedy entertainer in Sreenu Vaitla’s style and major part of it will be shot in Northern part of India. S Thaman is scoring the music.

Mahesh Babu’s future movie which is going to be a remake of 3 Idiots is going for shoot from 3 December. This film is a bilingual and Mahesh Babu is doing the Telugu version. Jeeva (RB Chowdary’s son) and Arya (Nenu Devudni and Varudu fame) are being considered for the two important characters in the movie. Harris Jayraj completed recording of two songs for the movie. Gemini Film Circuit produces this movie. Mahesh Babu is also doing Dhookudu movie in the direction of Seenu Vytla. This movie will be launched with a shoot in Turkey by the end of this month.
