Maestro Ilayaraja has completed recording eight songs for veteran director Bapu’s magnum opus – mythological film titled Sri Ramarajyam starring Balakrishna in the lead role. Legendary singers S P Balasubramaniam and Chitra sung the songs while for the first time Shreya Ghoshal shared a song with Chitra for this flick. Jonnavittula and Vennelakanti wrote all the eight songs composed by the maestro. This is the second time that director Bapu and Ilayaraja coming together after their earlier musical hit - Mantrigaari Viyyankudu .

Sri Ramarajyam is all set to begin the shoot from November 22nd and Yalamanchali Saibabu is producing it. Mullapudi Venkata Ramana has provided the script based on Valmiki Ramayanam. The movie is to be made with high technical standards and national award winning technician Kamal Kannan who worked for Magadheera would be overseeing CG work.

With the speedy progress of ‘Paramaveera Chakra’ and yet another film under Parachuri Murali’s direction on the sets, the recent news said that B Gopal is going to direct Balakrishna soon. Titled ‘Hara Hara Mahadeva’, this film will be produced by Bellamkonda Suresh. This apart, we also know that his mythological film ‘Sri Ramarajyam’, to be directed by the veteran director Bapu is in music sitting. Now the newest buzz is Balakrishna has signed yet another movie titled ‘Nandeeswarudu’, which will be made under his home production. The details of this film are yet to be revealed. Muhurat of veteran director’s mythological film with Balakrishna, Sri Ramarajyam , has been postponed. The film’s launch ceremony is scheduled for September 30. But in the wake of Ayodhya verdict, the producer Yalamanchali Saibabu decided to postpone the ceremony. A week later, it will have its muhurat pooja.

Veteran director K Bapu who made classics like Seeta Kalyanam and Mutyala Muggu in the past is planning a new version of this film. And Balakrishna will be playing the lead role that was originally done by his father Late NTR. This would be the first time that Bapu teaming up with Balakrishna although he directed several top stars including NTR in his long career.

Sri Ramarajyam is the title

Yalamanchali Sai Babu is producing this flick and it is said that the movie will have its muhurat ceremony on September 30. Sri Ramarajyam is the title for this film based on Uttara Ramayanam (that is Lava Kusha story).

Ilayaraja to do the music

Ilayaraja is scoring the music. Already two songs have been recorded. Bapu and Ilayaraja earlier worked together for Mantrigaari Viyyakundu that was a musical hit.

Balakrishna’s ‘Parama Veera Chakra’ is presently progressing at Hyderabad. Being directed by Dasari Narayana Rao, the film is currently making progress at Ramoji Film City. An action scene involving Balakrishna, Ameesha Patel, Amjad Khan and 40 other fighters is being choreographed by fight masters Ram-Lakshman. While the shooting was going on yesterday, all of a sudden Ameesha fainted on the sets. She was then rushed to the nearby hospital and was given intravenous glucose. Later, the unit learns that she was not keeping well due to shuffling fromHyderabad to Mumbai to attend her grandmother’s funeral and on top of that the hot climate in Hyderabad made the situation worst. Appearing on silver screen is not new to director Sreenu Vytla. He did before in V N Aditya directed Rain Bow. But acting under veteran director Dasari’s direction is different ballgame altogether. When Dasari asked him to do a small role of a film director in his 150th movie, Parama Veera Chakra, Srinu Vytla immediately said yes. For rarely does one get chance to act with this veteran director. He shot for the film for two days and finished his part. In the film, Balakrishna plays dual role and one character he portrays is that of a film star. So Srinu Vytla acted directing Balakrishna, the star in the film.
