Siddharth is back on the sets of his bilingual film ‘180’. As known to you all, the first schedule was done in Malaysia recently and now the 2nd schedule begins at Chennai today. The movie is being directed by his mentor P Jayendra with Nitya Menon and Priya Anand as heroines opposite Siddharth. Music is rendered by Sarath and camera is handled by KT Balasubrahmaniam. This apart, Siddu’s other movie under Prakash Kovelampudi’s direction with Sruthi Hassan as his co-star is indeed progressing gradually. Both these movies are expected to release in 2011.

Siddharth went emotional while describing his bond with the film’s director Jayendra, with whom he had association since childhood. He also said that the film is primarily set in Hyderabad although it is being made in Tamil too. “I am making entry into Tamil films again with this film,” he added. It is a character driven film, Siddharth said.

Siddharth’s bilingual film ‘180’, to be directed by his mentor Jayendran is all set to hit the floors on July 8th. This film will be simultaneously made in Telugu and Tamil with Priya Anand and Nitya Menon opposite Siddharth. Jayendran claims that ‘180’ is his first directorial venture. He says that he has 25 years of experience in making ad films from which he had learnt lot of things and thus enabled him to write this story. According to him ‘180’ does not belong to thriller genre but is a romantic flick in Siddu’s style. “I’ve enough knowledge on technical aspects of film making since it was our banner that introduced DTS to Indian cinema. We are going to shoot ‘180’ with Red Camera”, says Jayendran. Balasubrahmaniam will handle the camera while Sarath, the music department.

Siddharth’s new film, which is a bilingual one with the title in Tamil considered as ‘Puttam Pudhu Kaalai’. Now the latest news is that the makers have decided on ‘180’ as the working title in Telugu. The film has two heroines – while one is ‘Leader’ fame Priya Anand, the other is Nitya Menon. To be directed by his mentor P Jayendra, the film would go on sets in July, i.e., after the completion of his present flick ‘Bava’. This apart, Siddu is also busy with yet another project, a socio-fantasy flick under K Prakash Rao’s direction that is being produced by K Raghavendra Rao.
