Ravi Teja starrer film ‘ Don Seenu’ is currently shooting at Switzerland. The 40 day long schedule was begun in the last month and may pack up from there very soon. Major part of the film has been filmed at beautiful locations of the country.Hot babe Shriya and Anjana Sukhani are playing female lead roles with Ravi Teja M. Gopichand is making debut as director with this film. Venkat is producing this film under RR Movie Makers banner. The film is expected to release June this year.

Kajal Agarwal plays female lead. Paruchuri brothers pens dialogues. Devi Sri Prasad scores music. PC Sreeram handles cinematography. Thota Tharani is the art director. VT Vijayan is the editor.

Dharani said, “This is my first movie in this banner. There are big expectations on Ram Charan Tej after Magadheera and we prepared script to match the expectations. Merupu means lightening strike. There will be high voltage in this movie. The story of the movie is about how a youngster achieved his goal. There will be lots of commercial elements in this movie.”

Devi Sri Prasad, “I liked this title a lot. I am working for the first time with Dharani. He is a music lover. I am excited about working for a movie which has PC Sreeram working for it. I am a good friend of Ram Charan Tej since childhood. He used to come to my house and play with musical instruments. It is a good story and the sequences for songs are very good. Ram Charan Tej is known for legendry dances and I am preparing songs to match that image. There will be six songs.”

Ram Charan Tej said, “It is a good commercial script. I felt good after listening to the story and it caters to all cross-sections of audiences. I am happy that PC Sreeram is working for my film. I knew NV Prasad since I was a kid. Devi Sri Prasad is my childhood friend. I listened to the tracks and I liked them. I am doing a unique character in this movie. It will be identified by today’s youth. The story is about how a youngster becomes victorious. There is a rhythm in the story. Producers are spending good amount of money on this movie.”

Siddharth’s ‘Bava’ is at brisk pace in Hyderabad from April 19th onwards. While the unit completed the 1st schedule in Rajolu the 2nd schedule was done at Palakollu. This fun filled film with family drama is being made on village backdrop. Dr Rajendra Prasad is playing the father to Siddharth. The third schedule is progressing with key scenes involving the main star cast. A new face Praneetha has been cast as heroine.

Interesting part is that Prabhu Deva is going to choreograph for two of the songs. Remember, it is not his regular break dance steps that he is going to choreograph but something very sweet like in his earlier film ‘Nuvvosthanante Nenoddantana. But this time the tunes are being rendered by Chakri. Aravind Krishna handles the camera. ‘Bava’ is a beautiful love story being crafted by debut director Rambabu under Sri Keerthi Combines banner. Puri Jagannath’s upcoming flick ‘Golimaar’ with Gopichand and Priyamani as lead pair is getting ready for release on May 27th. The film is based on the real life history of Maharashtra encounter specialist Daya Nayak. Gapichand is essaying the role of an encounter specialist, while we can see Nazar and Roja in key roles. Shyam K Naidu handles the camera and musical scores are by Chakri. ‘Golimaar’ is being produced by Bellamkonda Suresh. The Nizam distribution rights have already been purchased by Dil Raju and the overseas rights by Ficus.

The Never ending,Forgatable Akkineni Nageswara Rao as ‘Devadas’, ‘Kalidas’, ‘Tukaram’, ‘Jayadeva’ and ‘Kshetrayya’ and we have also seen Akkineni Nagarjuna as ‘Annamayya’ and ‘Sri Ramadasu’. Now, it’s time for us to see Akkineni Naga Chaitanya as ‘Sri Sri’. Yes! There have been unconfirmed reports that Ramesh Varma, the director who made his debut through ‘Ride’ has narrated the script written on the great poet ‘Sri Sri’. A Tamil film by Supergood Films banner featuring choreographer cum director cum actor Raghava Lawrence as male lead is being dubbed in Telugu as ‘Lawrence’ by Korukonda Varahala Rao under KVR Film Productions banner. The tagline of the film is ‘Veedi Style Ye Veru’. The translation of dialogues has been done by Gantasala Ratna Kumar. The dubbing work has been completed and the first copy of it is also ready. The film is expected to release in May.

‘Lawrence’ is a simple story of an irresponsible man who falls in love with a woman. How he wins his lover’s heart is all about the film. Snehita and Pyramid Natarajan are sharing screen with Lawrence. Music is composed by Siva Kumar, lyrics are penned by Sahiti and Bharati Babu and editing by Babu. Sridevi is going to present the film.

Uday Kiran and Swetha Basu Prasad starrer ‘Nuvvekkadunte Nenakkadunta’ is currently progressing at Hyderabad. The film-makers has completed its recent schedules at Pondicherry and Chennai. The movie is said to be a romantic entertainer.

‘Nuvvekkadunte Nenakkadunta’ is being directed by Subha Selvam and is being produced by D Kumar and Eeswar under the banner Sri Venkateshwara Swamy Films. Prasad Pradeep Koneru is composing the music.

On a day when the Supreme Court quashed all the 23 cases against her for her interview to a magazine on pre-marital sex, Kushboo said she would not hesitate to accept a political platform if offered.
